Some people name drop, but we date drop. We’ve probably invaded your social feed every day with the date September 14th and you may be wondering exactly what it means. It is a Monday, but it’s a Monday during our favorite time of the year: #NYFW.
Rather than spending any downtime in a crowded Starbucks while watching everybody Instagram their coffee or sitting in gridlock traffic for more than an hour, we offer the fashion industry elite a chic way to remove themselves from the madness we all know and love of NYFW. Each season, our team collectively produces the TechStyle NYC Experience, where our invite-only guests can escape the chaos and discover the “New, Next and Now” in the fashion, beauty and tech as they indulge in pampering amenities and mingling opportunities with fellow VIPs between runway shows.
The Experience will feature unique activations that bridge together fashion and tech from brands including Thync, Swggr, and Shapeways, a 3D printing service that can bring a simple idea to life. The Style Media Lounge will house the likes of Meredith Marks, Rejected Hearts Club, and Titika, imitating the dream-set of an ideal walk-in closet. Just like at our #SummerofCreeds weekend getaway, we are bringing back the Peach Parlor with basics and lingerie brand Peach and educate attendees on the new way to shop for intimates on their platform.
This season, we even brought in a charity component to curate into the series, with Mavatar’s Cart for CAUSE. We’ll be revealing our celebrity stylist’s carts allowing you to shop their picks from the TechStyle NYC Event. A portion of proceeds from those purchases will be benefiting the American Childhood Cancer Organization.
